The STEMFest takes place both inside and outside of the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation, located at 154 Moody Street, Waltham.

Exhibitors will be outside in Landry Park.

Workshops will be in the Charles River Collaboratory, a design space inside of the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation.

Panels will be in the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation, Main Gallery.

Public Transportation

We highly recommend taking public transportation to the Festival. Here are some options:

Take the MBTA Commuter Rail to the Waltham stop on the Fitchburg line. That drops you off right next to Waltham Common. Follow the signs for the NextGen STEMFest.

Take the T to the Alewife Station and use the free Alewife Shuttle to the Steampunk Festival. Follow the signs for the NextGen STEMFest.

Take an MBTA Bus: There are several bus stops near Waltham Common. Please note that Carter Street will be closed to traffic and the buses will stop somewhere nearby. Aim for the stops along Main Street.
